Now located in the heart of Cardiff Bay, the centre is the ideal learning venue for sailors of all abilities, from beginners through to advanced water sport enthusiasts. Certified by the Adventure Activities Licensing Authority (AALA), Cardiff Sailing Centre is a Royal Yachting Association - recognised training establishment. In recognition of its services to sailing in Wales the centre has also been awarded RYA Volvo Champion Club status. Managed by Cardiff Harbour Authority, the centre offers a range of dinghy sailing, windsurfing and powerboat courses, from complete novice to fully qualified instructor. All ages are catered for in the comprehensive year-round programme. Over the years the centre has provided tuition to schools, families and other organisations, as well as to individual students. Many novice participants come back to us on subsequent courses to further their watersports skills. Whether you want to have your first go at sailing or learn advanced powerboat techniques, we have a course for you at Cardiff Sailing Centre.
