Himley Hall Sailing Club Himley Hall Sailing Club was started in December 1969, and is a small family club with some 80 members. The club is based on the Great Pool, within the grounds of Himley Hall, which is situated at the junction of the B4176 and the A449 some 4 miles from Dudley in the West Midlands. Racing is mainly held on Sundays, although there is also a Saturday race series in the calendar followed by barbeques in the warmer weather. Cruising is allowed when no racing is taking place. The Club has a large dinghy park with excellent launching facilities, and a grass foreshore provided with seats, ideal for spectators.
