Oban Sea School Most weeks from Easter to October I am running RYA sail cruising practical courses of 5 days duration. Competent Crew, Day Skipper, Coastal Skipper. Courses start on Sunday evening through to Friday early pm. We would be sailing in the beautiful waters all round the Oban area on a cruise, stopping each night at some sheltered often remote place. Tuition is by myself or Brian and we both have a mass of experience to offer you and being based on a purpose built yacht you are in very safe hands. We will learn lots as we go along and so become competent. Also on offer are some longer trips to places like the Outer Hebrides and St Kilda for 10 days, or W. Ireland for 12 days. or the Orkney isles. These are for people with some experience that want to see new places and gain further experience on the way, yes there is some teaching but it is not a course.
