The Blackwater Sailing Club The Blackwater Sailing Club is situated on the River Blackwater at Heybridge Basin and has first class facilities for both dinghy and cruiser sailors. There is racing most weekends in both catagories. As a Volvo champion club it also has a great coaching setup for 8-18 year olds initially on our training lake and then progressing out onto the river. Trial sails for anyone who thinks they would like to try sailing are also available.
