'What's On' at the Scottish Seabird Centre
Weekends and holidays: Puffin Club. Join us 2pm - 3pm weekends and holidays for fun make and take sessions.
1st July: Puffin Models. Watch the clowns of the sea live on camera to help you make a realistic puffin model.
3rd - 4th July: Puffin Hats. Try and spot the puffins out on the islands and make a lovely puffin hat.
4th July: 10th Birthday Radio Forth Road Show. Come and enjoy a fun packed afternoon at our big summer beach party to celebrate our 10th birthday with the help of top DJs Boogie and Dingo There will be fun and games, food and drink and lots of prizes to be won. Get there for 12.30pm and the fun starts at 1pm. There's no charge – so come and have a free fun day out.
5th, 7th, 9th July: Whale and Dolphin Mobile. Make a whale and dolphin mobile and keep your eyes peeled for the National Whale and Dolphin Watch Week.
11th, 12th, 14th, 16th July: WDCS Make Your Own Dolphin. Make a dolphin and keep your eyes peeled for the National Whale and Dolphin Watch Week.
17th July: Origami Whales. Try your hand at origami to create some great sea creatures.
19th, 21st, 23rd July: Whale and Dolphin Mobile. Keep your eyes peeled for dolphins in the Forth and join us to make your own leaping dolphin mobile.
25th, 26th, 28th, 30th July: Dolphin cards. Keep your eyes peeled for dolphins in the Forth and join us to make your own leaping dolphin cards.
31st July: Puffin Finger Puppets. Create your own puffin finger puppets.
1st - 31st July: Floating Zoo Exhibition. In the marine world it's the little things that count! There are literally billions of tiny plants and animals all drifting around the ocean with the tides like a floating zoo. Find out about this miniature marine world.
1st - 31st July: Graham Riddell Exhibition in the Picture Gallery. A new exhibition of images by local landscape and nature photographer Graham Riddell. www.grphotography.co.uk.
2nd July 2.30pm: Storytime by the Sea. Snuggle down for an afternoon of stories by the sea.

26th - 28th July 11am - 4pm: Whales and Dolphins with WDCS. Come and meet the Whale and Dolphin Conservation Society and find out more about the amazing bottlenose dolphins and other cetaceans that live in Scotland. Learn how to spot a dolphin from our Telescope Deck and join in our fun family activities. Find out how blubber can keep you warm, learn how whales feed and meet our life-size inflatable dolphin. We can also tell you about the threats whales and dolphins face and how you can help. Why not join our team and look out for dolphins from the Seabird Centre and you may even be lucky enough to see them yourself?
All activities are free with admission to the Discovery Centre unless otherwise stated.
There may be a charge for the Walking With Birds events.

9th, 11th, 13th Aug: Puffin Life Cycle Wheels. See how a puffin grows from egg to puffling to puffin with this life cycle wheel.
